Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Quartet Alto Saxophone,Baritone Saxophone,Tenor Saxophone - Level 3 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.834763

Composed by FRANZ LEHAR (1870 – 1948). Arranged by BRIAN W. COPPING. 20th Century,Opera,Standards. 18 pages. EMK Music #6436527. Published by EMK Music (A0.834763).

Scored for two Altos, Tenor and Baritone saxes, there are alternative parts three and four so that it can be played by four Altos. This is very useful for teachers of groups of like instruments.  The Merry Widow Waltz is probably the most well-known and enduring melody from Franz Lehar’s Operetta ‘The Merry Widow’, first performed in 1905. Immediate success followed in both London and in America, and it was later adapted as a Ballet. There have been many subsequent arrangements of different elements of the Score that invariably include the ’molto sentimento’ Waltz, itself.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
