By Various Artists. By Meredith Willson. Arranged by Vanessa Klassen. Christmas. Score and parts. 11 pages. Vanessa Klassen #753072. Published by Vanessa Klassen (A0.1152832).

Meredith Willson was an American composer best known for his hit Broadway musical "The Music Man." He wrote "It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas" in 1951. It is a popular belief that Willson wrote the song while staying in the Grand Hotel in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. The lyrics reference the Grand Hotel, the nearby park, and the “five and ten,” which was a store in Yarmouth at that time. This arrangement for clarinet, cello, and piano is set in a swing style and incorporates jazz rhythms and articulations.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
