Published by Piper Publications (A0.1135783).The Six Divertimentos Hob.IV. 6 - 11 were composed in 1784 for flute, violin and cello or two violins and cello. This is the first of the set and has been arranged for flute, oboe and basoon or cello. The three movements, Andante cantabile, Allegro and Tempo di Menuetto, are well contrasted and will provide enjoyment for three equal players and their audiences. In arranging the Divertimento necessary changes of octave have been made in the upper parts. Some alterations to dynamics, articulations and accompanying figures have been made which reflect and accommodate the sonorities and techniques of the change from sting to wind ensemble.
