Pachelbel's baroque classic has been arranged here for clarinet  quintet and optional percussion. With apologies to Pachelbel! this arrangement has a slightly more more contemporary feel and a new lease of life, even more so with the optional drums. The Bass Clarinet part in the quintet can be substituted with bass guitar (additional part included), thus allowing the piece to be performed by a clarinet quartet with bass guitar and drums. It has been carefully designed to work within the resources of players at about grade 5/6 and above (ABRSM), depending of course on tempo setting. This piece is a favorite with players and audiences alike and will be a popular addition to any concert performance or special occasion.
The PDF (15 pages A4) contains a score and parts for four clarinets in Bb and bass clarinet, plus additional parts for drum kit and bass guitar.
The duration of the piece is about 3 minutes.
