From there on, it has become synonymous with both the city and the singer. It spent around one year on various charts, and earned Tony Bennett two Grammy awards - one for Best Record of the Year and the other for Best Male Vocal Performance. This is a 4-part SATB a capella arrangement, with a solo lead voice required for the opening verse section which should be sung freely with the background vocals. There are some independent lines in the tenor part, but most of the time the choir sing with the same rhythm and timing. Chord symbols have been included so that some piano or guitar accompaniment can be added, and there are two layouts for printing - one is "open" score and the other is "closed".
