Seven Studies for Solo Mallet Percussion are designed as supplemental short solos that allow students to work on their mallet percussion skills in addition to their regular lesson books. These pieces can be played on xylophone, marimba, vibraphone or orchestra bells. The pieces in volume 1 are for beginners, are played with two mallets and give the students practice in several key signatures, time signatures, note values and notes up to one ledger line above and below the staff. This collection can also be found in the "Seven Studies for Solo Mallet Percussion Volumes 0, 1 & 2 Complete". Each piece is also available separately.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
