By Toto. By David Paich and Jeff Porcaro. Arranged by Vanessa Klassen. Pop,Rock. 37 pages. Vanessa Klassen #5778857. Published by Vanessa Klassen (A0.919130).

The song Africa was written and recorded by the American rock band Toto, appearing on their album entitled Toto IV. Their music video depicts the band in a library, performing and showcasing various aspects of African culture. According to songwriter David Paich, the song is about a man’s love for the continent of Africa.

This arrangement for clarinet choir includes parts for E-flat clarinet, B-flat clarinets 1, 2, and 3, E-flat alto clarinet, bass clarinet, and contrabass clarinet. Alternate B-flat parts also exist for both E-flat and alto clarinet. As the rhythms appear to be tricky at first glance, listening to the original song and learning the lyrics should make playing the piece much easier.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
