This performance obligato is in the Key of C and matches up with Hymn 199 in the LDS Hymnal. There are two verses (rehearsal marks A and B ) for earlier flutist and two for players a bit more experienced (rehearsal marks C and D). The 4th verse (rehearsal mark D) should not be used in sacrament meeting. It is fun for home, but draws too much attention to the performer for sacrament meeting. All fit with an accompaniment straight out of the hymnbook.
While I have not looked in many other hymnbooks, the few I've looked at with my students lead me to think this would work with other hymnals, as long as the hymn is in the key of C.
