Composed by Edward Elgar. Arranged by Ryan Woodhouse. Graduation. Score and parts. 25 pages. Ryan Woodhouse #3060813. Published by Ryan Woodhouse (A0.781239).

2017 Chamber Music Contest Entry. This arrangement of the Trio from Pomp and Circumstance is for the bored string quartet looking to spice up their next graduation gig. The arrangement is divided into forty-measure segments and features the theme in all four parts. The duration is approximately 7’00", but any section can be repeated or omitted if necessary. The entire arrangement can be repeated as well. The first forty measures are close to Elgar’s string parts with the melody in the Violin I part. The melody is then placed in the cello and followed by the viola. A pizzicato section is next, and the arrangement ends with the melody being played by Violin II. Countermelodies become more active as the arrangement progresses.
