Think of Coventry, and you may casually think of its post-war cathedral, Lady Godiva or perhaps even the Binley Mega Chippy! But mention the Ring Road, and everyone who knows it has an opinion.

Constructed in the 60s and 70s, this notable feature of the city is an innocent 2 mile stretch of dual-carriageway. However, with its complex design, and nine junctions, most of which seem to merge into one lawless free-for-all, the B4053 creates a unique driving experience which some may find "challenging", and others simply refuse to use!

Written for intermediate level brass bands, this concert piece attempts to pay homage to a much loved, yet often maligned stretch of tarmac.
