Published by Christina Lantz (A0.1381796).As a director of a 5th and 6th Grade A Cappella group, it is often difficult for me to find songs that are age appropriate, as well as easy enough for a beginning-level singing group. My arrangement of "Revolutionary" by Josh Wilson is fairly simple, has moments of unison to give young singers confidence and pitch points, repetative rhythms, and contains positive, uplifting lyrics for today's youth. This song also features a substantial solo that could be broken up into smaller parts to feature more students. Since this is a religious song, I've included optional secular lines if needed.
