By James Galway. By Traditional. Arranged by Klas Krantz. Celtic,Classical,Irish. Lead Sheet / Fake Book. 1 pages. Amadeus Music #760893. Published by Amadeus Music (A0.1160598).

The Belfast Hornpipe as played by James Galway. It's really a set of three traditional irish hornpipes: The Boys of Bluehill, The Harvest Home and The Belfast Hornpipe. Hornpipes are traditionally notated "straight". but played with a swinging dotted rythm. I have transcribed the tunes as James Galway plays the pieces on the record, for those musicians who aren't closer familiar with the tradition of notating Irish hornpipes.
