Intended for the advanced pianist, this piece is very picturesque- from the firm statement of the first stanza to the triumphant conviction of the last stanza. The waves and thunderings of the storm fluctuate throughout the music, but the robust and unmoving faith of the believer is clearly evident. This arrangement was born under the coaching of Dr. Michael Baldwin during high school and later matured under the direction of Mrs. Faye Lopez during the beginnings of a worldwide pandemic. The words of this precious hymn have brought peace to the arranger time and again. It is her hope that this arrangement will continue to be a blessing to many others.
