Handbell - Level 2 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.953716

Composed by Michael Haydn, William H. Doane, and and Franklin L. Sheppard. Arranged by G. R. Adkison. Christian. Score. 5 pages. Gary Ray Adkison #12143. Published by Gary Ray Adkison (A0.953716).

"Worship Him" is a 74 measure, 4-5 octave handbell choir arrangement, which is a medley of the Christian hymns: "O Worship the King", "To God Be the Glory", and "This Is My Father's World". The unifying theme is worshiping God. This is a lively arrangement, meant to be a confidence builder for the handbell choir who has four or five octaves of handbells. The nature of the chord choices, runs, brief descant fills and sometimes full chords are chosen to make the arrangement pleasing to the audience and satisfying to the players, in spite of the relatively simple level of difficulty. Tolls (swings) and shakes, which are relatively easy techniques, are used to add interest. This is probably a difficulty level 2+ (2 plus) arrangement.
