"Beau Soir" ("Beautiful Evening") composed by Claude Debussy in 1891 is originally an art song set to to a poem by Paul Bourget. The poem and music portrays a beautiful evening complete with a rose-colored sunset and a wheat field moving in a warm breeze. Debussy uses gently flowing triplet rhythm in the piano under a light duplets in the melody to create this wonderfully vivid imagery. This quartet arrangement score for flute, 2 violins and piano helps create an expressive and peaceful moment.
