In seiner Tonsprache verbindet er klassische Elemente mit Jazz-Element zu einer originellen Stilmischung, zu einer ganz charakteristischen Musiksprache. Als Pianist trat er insbesondere im Klavierduo mit O. Sinking hervor, ein Genre, das ihm dann auch als Kreativer besondere Erfolge einbrachte: So gewann er 2001 beim Internationalen Kompositionswettbewerb in Tokio einen Sonderpreis für sein „Modern Piano Duet. Seine Liszt Fantasy schrieb Rosenblatt zum 200. Geburtstag des großen Virtuosen Franz Liszt.
