Published by BF Music (A0.1025680).The Symphony No. 85 in B♭ major, Hoboken I/85, is the fourth of the six Paris symphonies (numbers 82–87) written by Joseph Haydn. It is popularly known as La Reine (The Queen). This arrangement is from the second movement: Romanze: Allegretto.
The arrangement is an arrangement / reduction of the original slow movement for Four Saxophones - Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Baritone Saxes. It is a very pretty work in Theme and Variation style form. There have been some minor liberties taken in part writing and octaves to make sure it works well on saxophone. I myself am a high school teacher and saxophone player, so I have made the parts accessible for most players. This work would be accessible by high school players and above.
