It consists of four movements that explore four different styles of modern jazz. Parkeriana is in the Bebop style, Milesiana is in the Cool style, Schulleriana is in the Third Stream style, and Coreaiana is in the Jazz Rock style. Both instrumentalists are asked to do some coloristic sound effects to add to the variety of color.
