Hymn titles include: Lo, He come with clouds descending (Helmsly) ; Why should cross and trial grieve me ; God be with you 'till we meet again ; Love divine ; O're the distant mountains breaking. These preludes are intended to serve anywhere as needed within the worship service, although most of them were written as hymn introductions.
