A famous melody, by the great Irish harp composer, it is given very sympathetic and sensitive treatment. The tune is mostly played on 1st violin whilst the accompaniment is always varied and interesting, enhancing the beauty of the original composition. Despite some high notes it is suitable for students and amateur quartets.
