SKU: A0.983803

Composed by Scottish Traditional. Arranged by R H Baptiste. Celtic,Classical. Score and parts. 38 pages. Ron Baptiste #3561199. Published by Ron Baptiste (A0.983803).

This predated Auld Lang Syne, and was very popular in its time but is seldom heard today. Inspired by a performance by Celtic Woman, a go to group for me, who I find very uplifting and joyous to listen to. One of my first attempts at arranging for concert band. From Wikipedia:        "The "parting glass", or "stirrup cup", or "coupe d'etrier" was the final hospitality offered to a departing guest. Once they had mounted, they were presented one final drink to fortify them for their travels. The custom was practiced in Saxony and in several continental countries."

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
