By Yuriy Kuznetsov. By Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged by Yuriy Kuznetsov. Baroque,Chamber,Classical,Multicultural,World. Individual part. 11 pages. Viacheslav Aleksandrov #905214. Published by Viacheslav Aleksandrov (A0.1316477).

The Suite (originally in Es-dur) is included in the collection "Six Suites for harpsichord", written by J.S.Bach in Köten around 1722. Subsequently, the first four Suites from this collection were preserved unchanged, the last two were processed, and all together they began to be called “French Suites”. In this final version, the suites have become especially popular. I am strongly convinced, that everything that came out of Bach's pen needs not only careful study, but also the most careful and loving attitude. After all, as Pablo Casals said, "the soul of music is in Bach."

You will get the full detailed professional-level guitar score of the following pieces BWV819:
I. Allemande
II. Courante
III. Sarabande
IV. Bourrée
V. Menuet I
VI. Menuet II

The guitar score will contain the detailed fingering for both right and left hands.

"Virtuosous Transcriptions for Guitar" - I kindly asking you for permission to take some of your time, and so to speak, to explain, i.e. to name the reasons that prompted me to take such an initiative. There are several such reasons: firstly, the technical and artistic level of guitarists' performance has increased tremendously in recent years (and, accordingly, opened up new opportunities for expanding the repertoire). Secondly, there is a certain scarcity to date of the musical "assortment" that our stores can offer. The main reason is the conviction that what is called progress in art is born from many similar efforts and initiatives emanating from different people. In other words, the more "boiling" the musical life is, the more likely the appearance of large performers, composers will be ment, any living thought, dies.

Now a few words about the transcriptions themselves. In the autumn of 1994, the legendary John Duarte, the teacher of legendary John Williams and Julian Bream visited us, the author of many world-level wonderful quitar transcriptions. I managed to ask the famous master what he thought about the guitar solo of the first part of Bach's Italian Concerto. Sir John W. Duarte replied: "About ten years ago, I was with Terry Usher (a wonderful English guitarist -Y.K.) doing a transcription of the Italian concerto for two guitars, but it ended up with Terry Usher...died".
John Duarte made a gloomy joke about it. But the fact is, that at this time I already had my own ready-made manuscript of the transcription of the first part of the concert for one guitar in my hands. Thus, the modern level of the 6-string guitar counts on the implementation of the most daring plans.

Dear guitar players! I put this Suite's transciption on your court, and I am sure that your hard work related to learning these complex transcriptions will be rewarded with the achieved result - the great music of the great Bach!

Yours sincerely,
Yuriy Kuznetsov.
