A popular "parting song" in both Scotland and Ireland, dating back to the 1700s, this arrangement is for solo mountain dulcimer in 1-5-8 or DAD tuning. It is arranged in two different keys - the key of Em and the key of Bm. It is suitable for the intermediate level player with a working knowledge of two and three finger chords and chord-melody style of playing.
