This beautiful but easy, somewhat contemporary SATB refrain, alternates with the seven chant verses of  the beloved "Ave Maris Stella" . This hymn and mode 1 chant are most useable, not only during Advent, but also on any Marian Feast Day throughout the Liturgical Year.

The chant verses are both in English and in the traditional Church Latin. It can be sung in its complete form (the refrain alternating with all seven chant verses) or with a combination of the chant verses, or shortened to add whatever chant verses may be most usable.
