Here We Come A Wassailing has been expertly composed for SATB Choir and Piano accompaniment by Tim Knight.Tim Knight has held Musical Director positions with several Northern choirs including Wakefield festival Chorus Burnley Municipal choir and Vocalis Harrogate. His music has been performed widely and has won awards from the Royal School of Church music the British Academy of Songwriters The Masterworks prize 2006 and others.

Tim Knight's take on the timeless Christmas classic Away In A Manger was originally written for the junior choir of St Peters in Bramley this can be unison or 2 part depending on the resources available.

Choirs often use Tim Knight's traditional folk songs as a concert filler so here they are published as a set.

Tim Knight's Remember for SAB choir is a beautiful setting of a poem by Christina Rossetti. Written in memory of the Yorkshire farming legend Hannah Hauxwell this piece could also be used for memorial and remembrance services in churches. 'Remember me when I am gone away   Gone far away into the silent land;  When you can no more hold me by the hand   Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay....'    

Tim Knight composed his setting of Magnificat And Nunc Dimittis for a small Choir at a London church however it has since been taken up by many others.This set of evening canticles can be used by upper or unison Voices and is written in a range that makes it accessible and quickly learnable by all Choirs.The enterprising Choral director will of course find ways to share the music amongst upper and lower voices. The pieces are approachable and accessible and have been used in workshops by the RSCM Northern area.

Tim Knight has arranged this very well known Spiritual for SAB choir as part of the Accessible Choral Library series.

Tim Knight's Benedicite is a new large scale piece for SATB Choir and Organ. An Orchestral version is due to be released in the Autumn of 2014.At 9 minutes long this piece is suitable as a concert filler and also for liturgical use. The style is definitely cheerful as befits the words of this text.Premiere performances of this piece are already arranged in the UK and USA and we think that since the Vocal writing is not difficult this piece would be a useful addition to the repertoire.
