My Luve Is Like A Red Red Rose is a poem by Robert Burns from 1794 based on traditional Scots sources. It has been set here for TTBB male voice chorus with a Piano reduction provided for rehearsalpurposes.Sir Granville Bantock (1868-1946) was a British composer conductor and educator. He channelled his energetic and creative personality into many musical projects championing the works of Jean Sibelius founding the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and composing many splendid classical pieces. Viewed by his contemporaries as out-of-date his music is now being appreciated as one of the last great contributions from theEnglish Romantic movement.

Collected Songs Vol. 2 - Songs to Danish and Norwegian texts (1906-15) by Rued Langgaard for Voice and Piano. Critical edition by Ole Ugilt Jensen and Bendt Viinholt Nielsen. Rued Langgaard (1893-1952) is one of the most important Danish composers of the 20th century. He has however only acquired this status many years after his death. Langgaard was an eminent musical talent but with his romantic and symbolist view of art he ended up as an outsider in an era when the trend-setting musical life of the time was permeated by Carl Nielsen's sober and modern attitude. Rued Langgaard's production within the lied genre comprises125 songs. Half of them were composed in the short span of years between 1914 and 1918 when the composer was in his early twenties.With this publication in three volumes Langgaard's important and personal contribution to the genre is presented in its entire range. Only 27 of the songs have previously been published. The songs are set to German Danish and Norwegian poems. The poems in Danish and Norwegian are included in an English translation (though not designed for performance purposes). Each volume is accompanied by an introduction source descriptions and a critical apparatus in Danish and English. The Rued Langgaard Edition (RLU) was established in 2000 the aim being to present practical performance-oriented publications of Langgaard's works on a critical scholarly basis.

Franz Schubert(1797-1828) was an Austrian composer working in the early Romantic era. First published in 1823 Die Nacht (D. 983c/Op. 17 No. 4) is scored for an unaccompanied four-part male chorus(TTBB) with words by Friedrich Wilhelm Krummacher. In this lyrical song Schubert cleverly uses the expressive nature of the upper male range to serenade the beauty of the night.
