blue note here generally have
no direct relationship with
the pieces they accompany;
they are more to appreciate as
a whole set illustrating this
strange necessity that drives
some (like me) to spend
leisure or nights aligning
black dots on staves rather
than sleeping or having fun
like everyone else. This
graphic "theme and
variations" is a
composition of my wife, a
privileged witness of the
adversarial relationship
between a composer and the
muse who wears him out.
